Project Description: 

Principal objective: To contribute to overcoming the global social consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Specific objective: To combat the socio-economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in Pakistan.

The project will map out 2,650 deserving aspirants for skills enhancement and livelihood development, prospecting of placement options for youth and identification of potential locations for trainings. The project will conduct skills Training of 1,318 selected deserving participants as per their aspiration for their livelihood development and income generation opportunities. The project will develop linkages between small and medium enterprises (SMEs), training units and youth groups, incubation support for entrepreneurs, job placement in small and medium enterprises, shared working space development and tools kits provision for 1,318 youth.

The specific project result is:
Increasing the needs-based competencies and skills of young women and men with a focus on Afghan refugees to increase income as a measure against the negative effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
